I am an expert tailor and patternmaker working in the highest levels of the entertainment and fashion industries. Clients seek me out for my eye for flattering fit, my quick and flawless alterations, my deep knowledge of cut and construction, my quiet discretion, and my utter reliability.

It was in my final year of undergraduate studies in anthropology at Williams College when, on what I can only call a hunch, I took a class in costume design. Fascinated by the blending of skills required by this field, I went on to earn an MFA in costume design from Carnegie Mellon University. For the past two decades I have been designing, patterning, and constructing costumes for theatre, opera, film, television, and the music industry.

For a woman of many passions, one creative outlet is not enough! I am also a web designer (specializing in authors, artists and other creative types) and photographer (focused primarily on food, still life, and lifestyle imagery).
